Perspective

I cannot help but to think of the hurricane and everyone coming together to help one another.

I had the honor of helping with hurricane Katrina when I was in the service.

In my heart it was the very best thing I did while I was a Navy Seabee.

We were helping the home front and I was extremely inspired by the local people spirits.

I found it unreal that these people had lost everything and were still wanted to feed us and make us feel appreciated. Absolutely mind blowing.

Before we complain today if you choose to I hope we can zoom out and realize how good we really have it.

You all have come out in bunches in response to my father’s passing.

Friendship is a sheltering tree and it is something near and dear to my heart.

I know I would not be where I am without friendship and all of you!!!!!!

Complaining

After hearing about my near dear friend Bonnie’s story about her sun wife and grandkids in North Carolina… after the passing of my father… some things just seem to make all other things shrink.

To think of the things we have the luxury of complaining about sometimes seems insane.

Complaining was one of the things people in hospice said they wish they did not do so much of.

Perspective

At least once a day I remind myself that I know nothing
